Boy Scouts hosting Bourbon, Bowties & Bling event

An upcoming bourbon-tasting event will support local Scouts. Bourbon, Bowties & Bling will be held beginning at 6 p.m. on Oct. 24 at Dubuque Shooting Society. The event raises funds to support Scouting America, Northeast Iowa Council. The event features specialty bourbons for tasting, with a master distiller offering insights. There also will be a selection of wines for tasting, gourmet bites from Convivium Urban Farmstead and bourbon cupcakes from Candle Ready Cakes. Tickets are $200 per person or $375 for couples.
