The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is hosting a public involvement meeting to discuss a proposed pavement replacement project on Wisconsin 35 from the Wisconsin/Illinois state line to Wisconsin 11 near East Dubuque in Grant County. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at Jamestown Town Hall in Kieler. The aims to educate the public on the purpose and need for the project which is to maintain connectivity by addressing deteriorating pavement. The meeting will also act as an input session. Planned work includes pavement replacement, culvert pipe replacement and updated guardrail. Construction is anticipated for 2029.
