Saturday morning the Grant County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a motorcycle crash on County U, near the intersection with South Boice Creek Road, in Potosi Township. 64-year-old Ronald Walsh of Horicon was driving his motorcycle west on County U during rain with fog. Walsh’s motorcycle drove off the north side of the roadway, causing it to crash into the ditch and become airborne. Walsh was ejected from the motorcycle. Walsh was not wearing a helmet and due to injuries sustained in the crash was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Grant County Coroner. This was Grant County’s seventh motor vehicle fatality of 2025.
