Rebecca Cooke calls on President Trump to take action on soybeans

The leading Democratic candidate for Wisconsin’s third Congressional District is calling on President Trump to take action regarding soybeans. Rebecca Cooke indicated the trade war with China along with tariffs has brought their purchases of US Soybeans to zero and drastically lowered the price of US Soybeans. She added in Wisconsin, the average price of soybeans dropped $2.60 per bushels in 2024. Cooke says Republican Derrick Van Orden’s support of these “reckless tariffs is another slap in the face to our farmers.”
