A staple in the Dodgeville community will soon be closing its doors for good. Quality Bakery announced its closure Thursday morning, stating that the family’s priorities have changed. What started as a dream of Laverne, Quality Bakery’s founder, became a reality in 1928, offering a variety of pastries, cookies, donuts, cupcakes, and more. Quality Bakery asks for patience and understanding as they decide their next steps for the bakery and their recipes. The bakery’s last day is slated for Oct. 4, allowing customers to gather one last time to get their baked goods.
