Cobb woman arrested after hours long incident

Saturday evening, Iowa County deputies were dispatched to Division Street in Cobb for a report of a disturbance involving an individual barricaded inside a vehicle with a gun. After several hours of communication and negotiation, 61-year-old Tina Rochelle Scales-Toborg, of DeForest exited the vehicle and was taken into custody. Scales-Toborg was charged with going armed with a firearm while intoxicated, operating under the influence 3rd offense, resisting or obstructing an officer, possession of THC, and disorderly conduct. Sheriff Michael Peterson expressed his gratitude for the teamwork and professionalism of all agencies involved in ensuring this incident ended safely. He also thanked the residents of Cobb and surrounding areas for respecting law enforcement requests to stay clear of the area.
