On Sunday, a Grant County Deputy was traveling North on Lancaster Street Platteville when they observed a vehicle lose control and strike a curb, then leave the road before running over a stop sign. The Deputy conducted a traffic stop and the driver was identified as 21-year-old William Cesar, of Platteville. Cesar was arrested for operating while under the influence 1st offense. Cesar was also cited for failure to keep vehicle under control and possessing open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. No injuries were reported.
