The city of Galena will host its 45th annual Halloween parade and festival this weekend. The festivities will take place Saturday, Oct. 25, in downtown Galena. The announcement states that the University of Wisconsin-Platteville marching band will perform in Grant Park at 5 p.m., followed by a 6:15 p.m. performance on Main Street from local motocross champion Chad Wienen. The parade will begin on Main Street at 6:30 p.m. Shuttles will be provided from the Walmart parking lot, to Main Street beginning at 3 p.m., with the last shuttle prior to the parade leaving at 5:30 p.m. A round-trip ticket on the shuttle costs $5 per person for riders ages 6 and older.
