A Reedsburg man is facing multiple charges after a string of thefts from vehicles this month. 45-year-old Alejando Leal is charged in Sauk County Court with three counts of theft-movable property and one count of resisting or obstructing an officer. According to the Reedsburg Police Department, Leal was taken into custody on Oct. 21 at around 11:30 p.m. when he was seen trying to enter a vehicle. Detectives executed a search warrant at a residence on Oct. 23, resulting in the recovery of stolen property and drug-related items, according to police. At his initial appearance, bond was set at $500. He posted bond on Monday. Leal has a pre-trial conference scheduled for Nov. 21.
