A Lancaster man was arrested for 5th offense OWI following a traffic stop in Tennyson. Friday evening, a Grant County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 35/61 in Tennyson. The vehicle was observed crossing the center line and deviating within its lane. A male individual who was later identified as 46-year-old Benjamin Fowler of Lancaster, fled from the traffic stop on foot. Multiple deputies and a Platteville Officer assisted in attempting to locate Fowler, who was later found at Twisted Vines Pub and Eatery, in Potosi. Fowler showed signs of impairment and was arrested. Fowler was transported to the Grant County Jail, where he was booked for OWI 5th offense, Bail Jumping, and Resisting or Obstructing an Officer.
