The University of Dubuque has launched an academic pathway designed to help transfer students from Iowa’s community colleges complete undergraduate degrees. The pathway, Community Reach 99, is designed for students who earn an associate of arts or associate of science degree from an Iowa community college. A press release states that academic credits from a community college student’s “transfer major” will be accepted seamlessly at UD, letting students to complete their bachelor’s degree in two years or less while paying less in tuition than they would at an Iowa public university. More information is available at dbq.edu/communityreach99.
