Two people were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in Grant County Tuesday. Tuesday morning, a Grant County Sheriff’s sergeant stopped a vehicle for not having headlight on during the dense fog. When the sergeant made contact with the diver, 35-year-old Brad Collins of Woodman, he noticed the odor of marijuana in the truck. While at the driver’s window, the sergeant noticed that the passenger, 41-year-old Paul Bunts of Woodman, was holding what appeared to be drug paraphernalia. After a search of the vehicle drug paraphernalia, 4 grams of marijuana, and suspected 34.9 grams of methamphetamine was located. As a result, Collins was booked into the Grant County Jail for OWI-Restricted Controlled Substance 6th Offense, Operating After Revocation-OWI Related, and Failing to Install Ignition Interlock Device. Collins was also issued citations for Possession of THC as well as Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bunts was booked into the Grant County Jail for Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bunts was issued a citation for Possession of THC.
