Former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member Jen Shah was released from federal prison on Wednesday after serving nearly three years. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed Shah was transferred from Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, to a community confinement program managed by the Bureau of Prisons’ Phoenix Residential Reentry Management Office. BOP spokesperson Emery Nelson said “community confinement” means Shah is either in home confinement or a halfway house. Her new projected release date is August 30, 2026. Shah was sentenced to six and a half years in early 2023 after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in July 2022. She was indicted in March 2021 for running a telemarketing scheme that “defrauded hundreds of victims” with many over age 55. (Story URL)
