Two Wisconsin children died from respiratory illnesses, the Department of Health Services confirmed Thursday. One child died from COVID-19 and the other died from influenza. They are the first children to die of a respiratory illness during the current respiratory virus season. You can schedule a vaccine through your primary care provider, local health department, pharmacy or community clinic. The Vaccines for Children program and Vaccines for Adults program have also been set up to help those without insurance cover the costs of vaccination.
