Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard will host the first Saturday Night Live episode of 2026 on Jan. 17 with A$AP Rocky as the musical guest. The announcement aired during the NBC show’s Christmas episode on Saturday, ahead of the Stranger Things series finale on Dec. 31. This will be Wolfhard’s first time hosting SNL. Rocky’s new album Don’t Be Dumb, drops Jan. 16. (Story URL)

Timothée Chalamet ended speculation that he is secretly British rapper EsDeeKid by teaming up with him on a remix. The pair released a short clip of their “4 Raws” remix on Instagram Friday. James Ransone died Friday at age 46 in what the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner ruled an apparent suicide. Ransone gained recognition playing Ziggy Sobotka on HBO’s The Wire and portrayed the adult Eddie Kaspbrak in It: Chapter Two. His other film work included The Black Phone, Black Phone 2, and he worked in TV on Law & Order, Hawaii Five-0, and Poker Face. (Story URL)

Kyle Chrisley, son of Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd and Julie Chrisley, was arrested Saturday in Tennessee on multiple charges. Charges include domestic assault, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, three counts of assaulting a first responder, and resisting arrest. Director James Gunn confirmed that actor Lars Eidinger will portray the villain Brainiac in his next Superman movie, Man Of Tomorrow. Eidinger, known for his role in All the Light We Cannot See, joins a cast that includes David Corenswet as Superman and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. George Clooney confirmed the death of his sister, Adelia Zeidler, who passed away Friday at age 65 after battling cancer. “My sister, Ada, was my hero,” Clooney told People. “She faced down cancer with courage and humor. Paramount+ has ended its NCIS spin-off Tony & Ziva after just one season, the streaming service confirmed Friday.
