One person is dead following a crash in Guttenberg

A man is dead following a crash in Guttenberg. The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle crash at the intersection of Osterdock Road and Garber Road in Guttenberg around 7 p.m. on Saturday Their initial investigation found the vehicle was heading northbound on Osterdock and didn’t stop at the T-intersection with Garber Road. The car then drove off the road and overturned. The driver, 53-year-old Steven Elsinger of rural Guttenberg was the only person in the car and died at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
