Argyle man cited for OWI on Christmas

An Argyle man was cited for OWI following a crash on Christmas evening. Early Thursday evening Lafayette County Deputies, Lafayette County EMS, and Darlington Fire responded to County Shop RD in Darlington Township for a one vehicle accident. 22-year-old Porter L. Olson of Argyle, was traveling on County Shop Rd, when he lost control of his vehicle, causing him to leave the roadway and strike a tree. Olson was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Olson’s vehicle received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. As a result, Olson was cited for Operating While Intoxicated – First Offense and Failure to Keep Vehicle Under Control.
