One arrested for meth in Mineral Point

One person was arrested for drugs following a report of a suspicious person. Friday afternoon the Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a suspicious person at a business on Branger Drive in Mineral Point. The Mineral Point Police Department and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the location. As a result, 56-year-old Brian K Schultz was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia related to Methamphetamine, Possession of Illegally Obtained Prescription, Possession of Methamphetamine, and a probation hold. Schultz was transported to the Iowa County Jail.
