Heating issues at a local middle school prompts the school to encourage parents to send kids with extra layers. In an email to parents from Dodgeville School District Administrator, Ryan Bohnsack, parents were advised that the Dodgeville Middle School had a heating issue on Monday. The email stated the weather-related two-hour delay gave the school enough time to get most classrooms into the 60s and the gymnasium up to normal temperatures. The hallways were cold because they receive heat from the classrooms. As more issues arose throughout the day they were unable to get the entire building back up to normal temperatures. The email advises the school will be running the heating through the night to ensure temperatures are back to normal, but asks parents to send extra layers just in case the building is not back to normal temperatures.
