A $500 signature bond was set Wednesday for a former Mount Horeb coach accused of fourth-degree sexual assault and stalking. David Chancellor appeared in custody Wednesday afternoon in Dane County Circuit Court for a bail hearing where a court official set a signature bond for Chancellor, and said he is not allowed to have contact with the victim. Officials are still working to put a criminal complaint together. Mount Horeb Police Department officers arrested Chancellor on Monday after an investigation into inappropriate communications between a coach and former athlete. An initial appearance hearing is expected to be held for Chancellor on March 16.
