One arrested for THC in Dodgeville

Friday evening an Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Curtis Road near the intersection of Bennett Road in Dodgeville. As a result of the stop, the operator, 34-year-old Michael J Wiest was arrested for criminal charges of Possession of THC (2nd or more offense), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Bail Jumping. Wiest was also ordered to be detained by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections as he was on active supervision. Wiest was transported to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked.
