Medflight called to crash in Gratiot Township

Lafayette County Authorities responded to a pickup truck, semi tractor trailer accident Friday Afternoon. 19-year-old Jeremy Eicher of Orangeville, Illinois failed to stop at an intersection in Gratiot Township. First Responders and UW Medflight doctors provided life-saving measures to Eicher at the scene before he was airlifted to UW Hospital and Clinics in Madison. His current condition is unknown. The driver of the semi, a 48-year-old man from Brodhead, was taken to the Monroe Hospital and later released.
