The City of Platteville annual Spring Clean-up will be held next week on Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14, 2026, with pick up the same day as your normal refuse collection. Items must be placed neatly at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the day of pick up. This service is provided to one and two-family dwellings only. All items must be stacked neatly and be in a pile no larger than 10’ x 4’ x 4’. Scrap metal should be stacked neatly separate from other refuse. Scrap metal and yard waste does not count toward the maximum size limit. Additionally, there will be a Spring Clean Up hosted by the Fishing BARge at O’Leary’s Lake on Saturday. Clean up starts at noon on Saturday. Meet up near the dumpster that will be located on the Sandy Hook ballfield. Supplies wiil be provided, but gloves and sturddy shoes are recommended.
