Iowa couple injured in Wisconsin motorcycle crash

An Iowa couple was seriously injured after their motorcycle hit a deer Friday afternoon in Grant County. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, the crash was reported just before 3:45 p.m. along Highway 133 near Carter Lane in the town of Waterloo. Roger and Tammy Adkins from Eldridge, Iowa were headed south on the highway on a motorcycle when they hit a deer in the road and the bike turned on its side. The motorcycle slid about 75 yards and both Roger and Tammy were ejected. The sheriff’s office said neither were wearing helmets and both suffered severe injuries. They were taken to University Hospital in Madison by helicopter.
