Grinspoon frontman Phil Jamieson has canceled the remaining dates of his 2026 Australian solo tour after suffering a back injury during a recent performance. In a statement shared after the incident, Jamieson said he slipped onstage on August 7 and struck a drum riser, leaving him with a fractured L1 vertebra.
The cancellation announcement confirmed that Jamieson was taken to Latrobe Hospital for treatment following the fall. His recovery is expected to require an extended break from performing, making it impossible for him to continue with the scheduled solo shows.
The injury also affects plans surrounding his solo album 10Charlie. A planned album launch has been canceled, although the record itself remains scheduled for release.
