Two people were arrested Friday evening following a reported theft at Walmart. Law enforcement initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle matching the description. The driver attempted to flee, but was apprehended after a K9 located him hiding inside a dumpster. The driver was identified as 37-year-old Jeffrey R. Hohman of Granton, who had 10 out-of-county warrants. He was additionally arrested on local charges of Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, four counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, 18 counts of Felony Bail Jumping, Operating While Revoked, and Ignition Interlock Device Tampering or Failure to Install. The passenger, 53-year-old Troy W. Clark of McFarland was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and Felony Bail Jumping. Both Clark and Hohmann were transported to the Iowa County Jail and booked on the charges.
