Sesame Street has turned Chappell Roan’s Hot to Go! into a playful new parody designed to help young children with potty training. In the newly released video, Cookie Monster leads the performance in a sparkly blue outfit while Elmo and Abby Cadabby join in for a colorful take on the pop hit.
The release transforms the song into Got to Go, replacing the original lyrics with simple reminders about recognizing when it is time to use the bathroom. The characters also spell out P-O-T-T-Y during the performance, keeping the educational message easy for children to follow.
Got to Go is part of Sesame Street’s Parody Party collection, a group of songs that rework familiar pop music around everyday lessons for kids. Other tracks in the project focus on themes such as sharing, teamwork, recycling, self-control, and daily routines.
