One arrested at Highway 14 boat landing

One person was arrested at an Iowa County boat landing over the weekend. Saturday afternoon, a DNR Warden conducted a traffic stop at the Highway 14 Boat Landing. An Iowa County Sheriff Deputy was requested. During the investigation, 32-year-old James E. Poppe of Spring Green was arrested for Operating While Revoked, Ignition interlock device tampering or failure to install, and Bail Jumping.  Poppe was transported to the Iowa County Jail and booked on the charges. Poppe is also being held on an Out of County warrant.
