Republicans in the Wisconsin State Senate will enter the next session as the minority party for the first time in over 15 years, and they’ll do so with new leadership. The Senate Republicans elected Sen. Julian Bradley of New Berlin as minority leader on Thursday. Bradley, whose district includes portions of Waukesha, Racine and Walworth counties, has been in office since 2021. Bradley succeeds Sen. Devin LeMahieu as leader of the Senate Republicans. LeMahieu had served as majority leader since 2020 before announcing in March that he would not seek reelection.
