Masks will continue to be required for City of Lancaster staff and any visitors to city facilities. The Lancaster Common Council voted Monday night to extend the ordinance until late January. The previous mask mandate was set to expire this month, but with COVID-19 issues still very prevalent in the area, the council voted unanimously to keep the order in place. The initial motion was for the deadline to end December 28th. However, Lancaster council members felt it made more sense to move the end date after the holidays and extended it until January 25th.
