District officials in Belmont are looking for input from parents and the community about issues related to the school. The Belmont Community School Board has scheduled a forum to take place Tuesday night in the high school gym. There will be an option to participate virtually as well with a link to be posted on the Belmont School District Facebook page. The forum will address long and short range issues within the district, as well as what important skills and qualities officials should try to find in candidates for the next superintendent. Belmont’s Superintendent, Wayne Anderson, was hired over the summer to fill that role during this school year on an interim basis. His contract runs through June 30th. The community forum Tuesday night is set to begin at 7pm.
