Barneveld Man Seriously Hurt In Crash

A 45-year-old Barneveld man suffered life-threatening injuries after a crash on Highway 18 on Tuesday night. According to a news release, police responded to a single-vehicle crash around 6:20p at Highway 18 and County Trunk Highway PB in Verona. The release said the driver – who was in a dark-colored, full-size SUV – was taken to a hospital. Before the crash, police say the SUV was traveling west on Highway 18, went across the median into the eastbound lanes, traveled back over the median and then went airborne.
