Southwest Wisconsin Man Dies In Crash

The Barneveld community is coming together to financially support a family after a fatal car accident took the life of Anthony DeJesus. The 45-year-old DeJesus, his wife and two children moved to Barneveld from Arizona this summer. On December 14^th, DeJesus was involved in a fatal, single vehicle crash after he careened off of Highway 151 near Verona. His car cleared the median, crashing on Highway PB below. Verona Police confirmed DeJesus passed away due to injuries sustained during the crash. Community members have organized a fundraiser to help pay to send DeJesus’ body back to Arizona, as well as assist with burial costs. The fundraiser is being set up through Go-Fund-Me.
