A southwest Wisconsin hospital is continuing to move forward with its plans to build a new facility. In an update from officials at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County, an environmental review of a parcel of land is expected to be done this month. That review is necessary before the hospital can begin applying for USDA grants to help with the project costs. Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County officials are also waiting for a preliminary architect report – which will help staff understand the replacement facility’s footprint. A feasibility study will be done as well in the early part of this year, with the final report expected by April.
