Road Construction To Begin on Highway 151 Near Dodgeville

The Iowa County Highway Department will begin construction work on Highway 18/151 east of Dodgeville on Monday March 22nd. The highway department will be performing asphalt pavement maintenance crackfilling along Highway 18/151 from the Highway 18 on interchange at Dodgeville easterly to the Dane County line. Work will consist of daytime work zone closures of one lane of traffic for the work. The work will begin on Monday March 22nd and continue for the month of April. Work will begin in the eastbound lanes of Highway 18/151 from the Dodgeville interchange to the intersection with County Highway YZ. On or about the end of March, the work will shift to the east county line and will occur in the westbound lanes from the Dane/Iowa County line westerly to Dodgeville. There will be one lane daytime closures weekly Monday thru Friday for the duration of the project. Motorists are advised to slow down and move over when in the work zone and allow yourself additional time to reach your destinations.
