The Grant County Sheriff’s Department reports a crash involving 3 vehicles on Highway 61, a few miles south of Boscobel around 3:30pm Monday. 26 year old Clayton Ottman of Boscobel was operating a vehicle southbound on Highway 61 when Ottman crossed the centerline, entering the northbound lane of traffic. 36 year old Jobert Bermudo of Readstown was northbound on Highway 61. Bermudo attempted to avoid Ottman. Ottman struck Bermudo head on, causing Bermudo to go airborne, overturn, and coming to rest in the southbound shoulder on its top. Ottman’s vehicle then collided with a vehicle driven by a 50 year old Darren Cornell of Boscobel. Bermudo and Ottman were taken to Boscobel Area Health Center with injuries. All 3 vehicles were towed by Terry’s Tire & Towing.
