A Shullsburg man is facing a battery charge following a disorderly conduct call Sunday afternoon. The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to a home on East Mound Road in the Village of Belmont around 1pm Sunday. After their investigation, 23-year-old Hipolito Chuy-Santos of Shullsburg was arrested for battery and taken to the Lafayette County Jail. He was booked on his charge and later released on a cash bond.
