Dead Man Found In Galena

A Whiteside County man was found dead early Wednesday along Highway 20 in Galena. According to a Galena Police report, officers were called to the 300 block of Decatur Street around 4am on reports of a subject down. Upon arrival, authorities located the deceased man – who was later identified as 25-year-old Logan Johnson of Rock Falls, Illinois. Police don’t believe there is any threat to the public. No details were provided regarding the cause or manner of Johnson’s death. Galena Police say that an investigation is ongoing.
