An Argyle man was injured early Thursday after a single-vehicle crash in Wayne Township. According to a Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office report, 22-year-old Tyler Corning crashed around 2:30am while driving on County Highway D. Officials say Corning failed to negotiate a curve, causing his vehicle to leave the road and enter the ditch. Deputies say speed and alcohol were factors in the crash. Corning received non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital. He’s been cited for operating while intoxicated, failure to maintain control of his vehicle, speeding and failure to fasten his seatbelt.
