A public hearing about the proposed expansion of ATV-UTV routes in the City of Platteville will be Tuesday at 7pm. The Platteville Common Council is reviewing an ordinance that would allow ATVs and UTVs on most streets within the community. Right now, there are only certain roads designated for ATV and UTV use. Those wishing to express an opinion on the matter have a few options. Citizens can register in favor or against the proposal by emailing CityofPlatteville@Platteville.org. You can also email that same address if you want to speak in favor of, against or in general about the ordinance. Emails to CityofPlatteville@Platteville.org need to include your name, address, phone number and reason you’re attending. Emails must be received by 3pm Tuesday.
