Corps of Engineers is hosting an open house in Prairie du Chien

The US Army Corps of Engineers is hosting an open house to gather the public’s input on its Mississippi River dredged material management plans near Prairie du Chien. The event will be held June 22 from 5:30 til 8p at the Prairie du Chien City Hall. This open house will focus on areas within Pools 9 and 10. That includes the area south of Lock and Dam 8 in Genoa – and the area near Lock and Dam 10 in Guttenberg. A brief overview about the Mississippi River and the Corps’ navigation mission will be presented at 5:30 and repeated at 7p that evening of June 22.
