Two Vehicle Crash in Lafayette County

Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s department responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 11 in Gratiot Wednesday just after 5pm. 36 year old Amanda Scott-Groom of Mineral Point was pulling equipment with a truck when she was struck from behind, by a vehicle driven by 18 year old Devin Nobiling of Antioch, Illinois. Both vehicles had severe damage and were towed from the scene. Scott-Groom was taken by EMS for non-life threatening injuries. Gratiot First Response, Gratiot Fire and Green County EMS Darlington assisted at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
