A Minneapolis woman is facing drug charges after fleeing authorities in Crawford County. Deputies say 62-year-old Colleen Crawford was pulled over along Highway 35 in Ferryville when a K9 unit was conducting a traffic stop. Officials say Crawford refused to comply with being detained during an investigation and fled the scene. Prairie du Chien police were called for assistance after deputies began a pursuit. Authorities used stop sticks to deflate Crawford’s tires, ultimately pulling her over near the Prairie du Chien airport. She was taken into custody. A search of the vehicle turned up almost a pound of meth, several items of drug paraphernalia, and a large amount of cash. Crawford faces charges of operating under the influence of a restricted controlled substance, intent to deliver meth, multiple counts of recklessly endangering safety, fleeing from officers, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.
