A Mineral Point teen suffered minor injuries after crashing thru a barn Monday night in Glen Haven. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office says 17-year-old Dominik McVay was driving along East Glen Road about 10p Monday. According to a sheriff’s report, McVay was lost due to construction in the area and was looking at his phone for directions. He failed to see a sharp curve and left the roadway – striking a barn, going all the way thru the structure, and then hit a large concrete barrier and cattle feeder. Deputies say McVay’s vehicle sustained heavy damage and was towed from the scene. McVay had only minor injuries. There were no cattle in the barn at the time of the crash. McVay has been cited for inattentive driving.
