A Cuba City man faces his 4th offense of operating while intoxicated after authorities found him passed out at the wheel Saturday afternoon. According to a Grant County Sheriff’s Office report, a deputy saw 31-year-old Blake Gardner passed out in his vehicle around 3pm on the side of the road in front of his mailbox along West Parker Street in Cuba City. The sheriff’s report says it appears Gardner had gathered his mail – which was strewn in his lap – and then went unconscious. Upon being woken up, Gardner showed signs of drug use. He was arrested for operating while intoxicated and possession of a narcotic. He was taken to Grant County Jail where he remains without bond.
