Two Arrests in Mineral Point

Two people were arrested following an incident in Mineral Point Thursday night around 9pm. According to the Iowa County Sheriff’s department. 19 year old Mackaylah Coppernoll of Lone Rock was arrested for resisting and obstructing an officer, and 25 year old Beau Cunningham of Dodgeville was arrested on a warrant through Iowa County. Both Coppernoll and Cunningham were taken to the Iowa County Jail where they were booked and remain in custody pending a bond hearing.
