His announcement comes a day after reports surfaced that the Packers were in talks to bring the receiver back to Green Bay.
Cobb played the first eight seasons of his NFL career with the Packers before moving on to play for the Dallas Cowboys as a free agent after the 2018 season. He then signed a three-year $27 million deal with the Houston Texans before the 2020 season.
The Packers have not yet officially announced Cobb’s return to the team.
