A rural Platteville man is facing his 6th offense of drunk driving after authorities say he crashed into a tree Sunday evening. According to a Grant County Sheriff’s Office report, 69-year-old Ronald Reed was driving around Potosi Point near Highway 133 about 5:45p Sunday. Deputies say that Reed lost consciousness and his vehicle struck a tree. He was arrested for operating while intoxicated – 6th offense.
