The athletic department says mobile tickets will prove to be safer, faster, and allow for contactless entry into stadiums, while also making it easier to transfer tickets to friends or family members and protect against lost, stolen or counterfeit tickets.
Fans choosing the digital option will have the ability to have tickets delivered directly to the “wallet” on their phone, meaning they won’t need Internet service or WiFi to access their tickets at the stadium.
Those choosing to print their tickets will have them e-mailed to the address on record with the UW Athletics ticket office. Each ticket will have to be printed separately on standard 8.5×11 white paper. Print-at-home tickets shown on a mobile device will not be accepted at the gates.
The athletic department says football and volleyball season ticket holders and those who have already bought mini-packs, single-game tickets and group tickets for football should have already received information on digital tickets.

The Badgers also recently announced its COVID protocols for fans this fall, including requiring masks to be worn at all indoor areas and strongly recommending masks for fans sitting in their seats in the open-air stadium.
Masks will be required in areas like restrooms, elevators, suites and club seats, the Bucky’s Locker Room team store, first aid rooms, Guest Services locations and the press box.
The Badgers’ football season kicks off on Saturday, September 4th against 19th-ranked Penn State.
