A man from Boscobel suffered fatal injuries in a crash with a milk truck Tuesday on County Highway T near Blue River. 18 year old Travis Denner was pronounced dead at the scene after his truck collided with a milk truck driven by 27 year old Dylan Fruit of Hillpoint. Fruit was backing a Triple B Milk Transport semi truck into a farm driveway. Denner was traveling north on County Highway T and, after coming around a corner, failed to see the milk truck and collided with the trailer. Denner’s truck became wedged under the trailer and Denner was entrapped. Blue River Fire, Boscobel Fire and Wegner Towing worked together to free the truck, but Denner was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is under investigation by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. Blue River EMS, UW Med Flight, the Wisconsin State Patrol, and Wisconsin State Patrol Technical Reconstruction Unit assisted at the scene. This is the second fatal crash in Grant County in 2021.
